Scrappin’ with Deck the Halls Designer Paper

When I opened my first pack of Deck the Halls, I knew it was time to scrapbook.  These pages are just so beautiful!  I cut out part of this sheet to use on the 2 cards below, then used the rest of the sheet for this page.  But it needed some embellishing so I added the crochet ribbon, then a strip of Vanilla run through the Scallop Trim Border punch.  Then I added some of our new pearls in the white poinsettias—here’s a close up: IMG_2937

But it still needed something so I took a piece of Crumb Cake, ran it through the Big Shot with the Scallop trim border punch, then sponged it with Early Espresso Ink, but that still needed something so I got out my Shimmer Paint—champagne—and sponged it over the espresso ink and got this amazing copper look!  It was like magic.
