Butterflies Galore

Did I say yet how much I
enjoy stamping with the
Butterfly Basics?
For this card, I started with the
designer paper, Something
Borrowed   #137785
I masked, then sponged the
edges with Early Espresso,
then stamped with Hello Honey
and Early Espresso.

I antiqued the edges of the Typeset
designer paper piece by sponging
and tearing in a few places.

The swirls stamped lightly on the right
are from the stamp, Fabulous.

See previous post and video

I'm sure you'll have to add this Butterfly Basics to your wishlist today

A Favorite Sale A Bration Stamp

So far, this has to be the most liked stamp set in the
Sale a Bration catalog.  I think you'll like it too.
I just made this lemon card at Connie's meeting on Saturday.

What fun using Blendabilities to color these lemons.
Easy, peasy!  Stamp with Black Memento pad.
Then, I start with the dark shade of Daffodil....run a little color on the outsides of lemon, come in with the medium color, blending the lines and leaving the center open for the lightest color. When I use the lightest color, I blend any remaining lines.

Then the little bird from that set is done below in Blue and another in browns.

The background is Butterfly Basics.  Also uses the circle dies and doilies.

This little guys is colored with blendabilities and cut out.

We did all these cards at Connie's meeting...What fun!

If you'd like this set, you can get it FREE with a minimum $50 order.

Mini Treat Bag Thinlets Die--Delightful

This is the first project that I made with the products from the New Occasions Catalog.
I actually made about 70 of these puppies as an incentive for my Joyful Heart Stamper team!  Most of them were shorter...I ran it thru the big shot twice...the first time cutting out the full design, the second time, moving up the die to cut off the bottom and make a new bottom. They were fun to make!

Check out this video that Stampin' Up! did to show how to make them!

Here are those projects Donna completed:

Lotus Blossom Sale A Bration and Video

So, the first SAB stamp I picked up was this Lotus Blossom.  You've heard of 2-step stamping that Stampin' Up! invented, well, this is the most gorgeous 3 step stamp you'll ever see!
Wanted to share a fun idea that Stampin' Up! shared with us.  You are going to be blown away.
Get it in photopolymer...Get it FREE

So, I was playing!  This is the Lotus Blossom stamp, with the colors of ink shown and the paper is also Sale-A-Bration--Irresistably Yours!  You can see how it looks as I'm sponging on the Old Olive.

Here's a more close-up view.  One thing I've found: Even though it's a 3-step, you don't always use 3 colors.  It's tough to find 3 colors that coordinate perfectly.  So, for step 3, I wasted the image on the Rich Razzleberry so that it was a lighter version of Rich Razz.
Be sure to watch the video...so you can see how the layers go together! Hope you enjoyed.
