Botanicals 4 You --a FREE Sale A Bration Stamp

This set is different than what we've had recently.   The large words make a fun focal point on this card and the beautiful balloons just become the accent.

Here you can see that I used Real Red Foil paper and Dazzling Details Glimmer Paper for the Balloons
The balloons are from the punch Balloon Bouquet from the Balloon Celebration Bundle.
Wow, I hope you enjoy this stunning card that also incorporates the Botanical Blooms bundle of dies.
Colors: Pool Party, Hello Honey and Botanical DSP
And last, but certainly not least, this one is done on watercolor paper, words embossed in gold then
the waterbrush look done with aquapainter and watermelon wonder, calypso coral and then blushing bride with So Saffron Cardstock...accent with petite petal punch and our metal rimmed pearls

I hope you've enjoyed this 2 week marathon...I've loved it but am exhausted so I will be breaking for 2 days but be sure to come back next week cause I'm gonna post a video tutorial for you!

Picture Perfect hummingbird

I'm always inspired by Mary Fish and this card is no exception.  I loved the colors she used on her hummingbird and I tried to emulate.
I have to say, I do love how this card turned out!  I thought the hummingbird might need some flowers to get his nectar from.  I used Watermelon Wonder along with grey and black.
Same set, this time a rose
The star fish is also from this set and is a 2-step.  Don't miss the cute little bow paper clip on this card. Very diverse set but love the gorgeous cards you can create with it.

You can purchase your set here today.

Tried some bright colors....watermelon and cucumber...love that new watermelon satin ribbon.
Hint: I cut it in half to make it more narrow.
I love the subtle tones of this card withh pool party, soft sky and crumb cake and the new pool party glitter ribbon

Going Global

One of my very first purchases was this set and this stack of designer paper.  Going Global is a wonderful masculine stamp set which we've needed desperately.
I was inspired for this card by a card by Carolyn King.  And I remembered demonstrator friend, Kelli Perkey and her gorgeous layered pins, etc.  So, I punched 3 of the 2 inch circles (the top one being stamped already). Then I glued them together with tombow (green) glue.  I did the same with the N,S,E,W compass....I cut them out by hand, gluing 4 of them together.  After coloring, I added crystal effects.  The Antique Brad is just sitting in the crystal effects (I cut the prongs off).

Tash did this card for me...Blackberry Bliss and gold are gorgeous together.  She colored some pearls with a gold sharpie for accent, embossed the compass in gold and added a circle of Gold Foil.  Background is the World Traveler Texture folder. She sponged it after embossing it.
This one is done with Lost Lagoon/Gold/Black...a touch of vellum.  Some stars punched with our Confetti Stars Border punch.
Did you think of this set as a Valentine's Card, incredible.  Can you see, we colored the N. American continent with the Wink of Stella pen to add some shimmer.
Tash did this one too...Designer paper from Going Places Stack...you don't want to miss out on this one.  Can you see the star is 3-D.  After die-cutting the star, first with the smaller one, then the larger one, you score at each point and valley, then just giving them a pinch (mountain at the point and valley at the valley).
Below are the items used in these cards so you can take advantage of our fabulous Sale-A-Bration special and get a free SAB item with each $50 order.  Order Now

Rose Wonder Bundle of Gloriousness

I wasn't sure about this set and die at first.  I worried that it was just one of those pretty things that you'll never use.  I was definitely wrong about that!  I have had so much fun with this set...so many different ways to use it!
The background of this one is our dazzling diamond glitter paper.  I used the die cut to cut out the whole piece of glitter paper then spritzed the color on and left it dry before gluing the black cutout in place.
This one I cut out in gold foil then traced it onto the Sale-A-Bration paper Perfectly Artistic.
This one is pretty simple...in Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow with a background of corrugated paper and gold baker's twine.
For this one, it's a little more tricky.  Got this idea from my team member, Jody Brechbill. You cut out the black flower, then trace and cut a solid piece (cover with fast fuse) then lay down the cut out.  Next, cut one color at a time.  Before you use your die brush, put it on a piece of 'press and seal cling wrap', push it down firmly and then use the brush....carefully lift off the die and all the pieces are stuck to the press n seal! it's still a labor of love for sure...but it keeps your pieces from flying around.  The colors I used are pool party, island indigo and night of navy.
This technique is similar to the one above but just using the same colors but adding some sponging.  This card idea came from my team mate, Deb Horst.

And this one, I just stamped and cut the leaf from the set....with the new drapery fold technique.  Will teach this one at private parties booked for February!  Call me to book your's now.

You will not want to miss purchasing this bundle--Rose Wonder

I'd love to hear your feedback below...thank you

Pink and Black Grateful Bunch

This is one of the cards for my card class this month.  Love Melon Mambo and Black together
and I always love stamps and punches that coordinate.  This set has a stamp to stamp the 3 flowers you see stamped in black and then a punch that cuts all 3 out at the same time.  It's one of the prettiest flower/punch combinations that we've had in a long time.
Also, don't you love the black/pink cording?  It's new in the Occasions catalog as well.
Be sure to check it out here

Botanical Garden Amazement!

So, today we come to my favorite product. Maybe I love it because it's the first thing I got my hands on since I got to talk about this product suite at On Stage. Or maybe I love it because of this very card that we (Linda and I) copied from Karen Barber. She is a talented artist! You go ahead and try to resist this 'yet another flower set' after you see this card!

My son's engagement pictures in Project Life

One of our kraft bags I designed with this suite of products

Debbie Paisie designed this adorable curvy keepsakes box...the flower is a window into the box
I used the Baker's Box thinlets to make this box

You can view the post with this card...all but the large flower cut with this suite's dies

SAB Honeycomb Happiness

Chicki Poo!  aka Honeycomb Happiness...Is this the most adorable peep you've ever laid eyes on?
And look at these sweet little honeycomb embellishments!  They are from the Occasions catalog
They don't come in yellow so I spritzed a white one with our spritzer tool filled with alcohol and about 20 drops of Crushed Curry ink refill

The above card is the one we are making at class this month...it's been a huge hit!
Hint: I used the stamp-a-magig to get the balloon exactly in his wing. I also used our brand new It's My Party enamel dots (yellow)
Is this adorable or what?  Little treat made with the curvy keepsake box (just the one side of it).
His little hat and the sun is from the Hello set..also from Sale-A-Bration.  The balloons are from the new set,  Balloon Celebration Bundle on page 13 of the Occasions catalog.
Hint: cut out 2 curvy keepsakes...just this side, then cut bottom piece off at about 3/4"from fold, attach by overlapping both bottom pieces and gluing...that's it!
The balloons are held in the air with a strip of window sheet---great idea that I cased from someone!
Did you notice the cute black and melon mambo bakers twine?  On page 6 of occasions

Grey, Watermelon and Pear Pizzazz...whodathunkit?

Love this card!  So, I had the grey base done since I demo'd for OnStage Local in Baltimore in November...just to show the gorgeous cut out from the Botanical Gardens Bundle.  Then a friend posted a similar card using Watermelon Wonder with this grey and I was in love.
The FREE SAB set that I'm showcasing here is called Hello and is one of the limited time stamp sets so get your's today, FREE with a $50 purchase
I took the Wink of Stella clear pen and just colored the petals of the large flower to give it some shimmer...isn't that beautiful?

Sale a Bration Flowering Fields

Are you loving this year's Sale-A-Bration Products?
Each day, I'd like to showcase at least one of them.  I've been having so much fun with all of them.
This one stamped with Archival Black and colored with markers...notice the corner done with the triple punch.  The 'just because' tag was done by just folding the ends of the piece, spritz with water so that when it dries it becomes firm.

I stamped this one with Archival Grey and watercolored with aquapainter. Colors are Basic Grey and Bermuda Bay and a little Pear Pizzazz just for coloring

This set is done with Rich Razzleberry, White and Crumb Cake.

Each of my samples uses the Flowering Fields Set (7 stamps) from page 12 of the SAB catalog
This set is free with any $50 purchase.
