Some of the things I love as I have done this for 20 years...
.You get to work alongside your family (my little ones, helped me(ie played with my stamps), as      they got older, they were so much help) and I got to be home with my kids except for a few classes a  month and was able to work those around my husband's schedule.  Now, I do many in my home.
-You make so many friends, it's amazing.  As a young mother, I needed some adult conversation and stimulation to keep me grounded.  As a grandmother, I need conversation and stimulation to keep me from getting alzheimers  smile.
-My husband and I and even some of the children have gotten to enjoy fabulous FREE vacations that we would never have been able to take on our income.
-I was able to quit my job as a Registered Nurse working in Critical Care and stay home with my family....please note that it was a pay cut for me but working this business helped to keep food on our table and gave me what I really wanted, Time with my children",  Granted, we worked a lot, but we worked together.
-I cannot lie, it was fun and rewarding to be recognized many times for accomplishments in sales, recruiting, etc.  I think we all enjoy a little bit of recognition for the things we do and that is why in my team, I try to recognize those who work hard, share the love, are creative.  Each person has a different gift and all are blessed when we work together and share the load.

#ImBringingBirthdaysBack --join me

‪#‎imbringingbirthdaysback‬ This is a new slogan that Shannon West at Stampin' Up!s main office started. She has a vision to become more personal and send more birthday cards. This has also been my vision this year as well as our churches, to encourage each other in the body. So, I want to be a part of Shannon's quest....check out her video here.

Instead of my Going global class the end of this month, I am holding a Birthday Card Buffet (there will be some masculine cards with the going global set, there will be feminine, kids, etc).

Cost is $10 gets you your choice of 5 cards and you will be able to increase that total in several ways:
1. Place an order of $25 and get 2 more cards free
2. Bring a friend to class and get 2 more cards free
3. Place a $50 order and 5 more cards free, plus a Sale a Bration item
4. Schedule your own party/class and get 10 cards free.
So, you could possibly earn 22 cards.

The fun thing is...you will get to pick which cards you want to make out of the 10 or so choices.

Do this now:
-put these dates on your calendar: Friday, February 26 5 PM til 10 PM or Saturday, the 27th 9 AM til 2 PM
-RSVP by Feb 20th...just let me know that you are coming.
-have your $10 at the door to get you started.
-don't forget to invite a friend so you can make 2 more cards FREE

Hello, Sale a Bration with Stampin' Up!

Hello, a stamp set that will be gone after February 15th.
The font and size of this 'hello' stamp is perfect for so many things and
the accessory stamps are perfect to go with it.

Here are a few cards that I case'd.
The punch set, Party Punch Pack, coordinates with 2 of the stamps in this set...
balloon and party hat
What fun...Tash bought the Bug set and I saw someone use it with the hello stamp.
I stamped the bug in black on Hello Honey Card stock.  Then I used my aqua painter to shade it!
Then I "winkered it" (Jody Brechbill's term) with the clear Wink of Stella pen...you may see the shimmer if you look close.  I had an ugly blue bug when I was a teenager.  It never started so I had to park on a hill everywhere I went so that I could clutch start it!  Hey, it got me where I needed to go when my bike didn't!
If you want to get either the Hello set (limited time) or the Beautiful Ride stamp set, you can do that here.  Be sure to check out my Anniversary special to come out on March 1st.
