Stampin' Up! Magical Pumpkin Forest
More fun with the woodland embossing folder #139673
I made 50 adorable pumpkin name pins for our Stamp Fest/luncheon on Saturday.
So when I started working with the woodland folder, I copied a pumpkin card but with my own twist on the pumpkin. You'll notice the pins have 2 extra ovals on them...the back 2 ovals are the wide oval punch while the rest of the ovals are all the large oval.
I hope you've enjoyed these ideas. Please let me know if you do...it helps keep me inspired to keep inspiring you!

Woodland Embossing Folder fun!
I offered to demo at my upline meeting a week ago and then panicked, thinking what I would show. Then I came across this fun and easy idea by Ann Craig at DistINKtive Stampers. This is my take on her card/technique. I love how artistic it feels as I'm swiping my ink pad across the embossing folder! I just wanna say "Bam!" like Emeril.
Now, this one is done with Ann's technique...much easier but a little different, definitely more messy!
You'll have to click on her link above to see the progression but you can see the ideas are endless once you get started!
You can see, I had a little fun with it...look out for the crazy huge Christmas ornament hiding in the trees...grin!
I hope you'll try it...if you do, send me a pic and I'll post it here for you.
Don't have this folder? I can help...Just skip to my Store, click on shop now, and put in the #139673 in the search box or look at the Holiday catalog
It was a much simpler way to mask the trees than the video I did a few weeks ago so I thought I should let you know. The card I did originally below... you can watch the video and see that sample Here,

Stampin' Up! holiday trees
So, I chose this embossing folder for my downline award cards which means I usually have to design around 8 different cards using one stamp set. So I went on the prowl for some clever ideas.
Here's one of the cards I did with my theme of the Woodland embossing folder #139673
The basic layout with the bird in the branch was from an idea I found online. I was pretty thrilled with myself when I came up with this tag....does it look familiar?
It's our note tag punch #135860
First, I punched the stamped saying, then I returned the piece into the rear of the punch thru the open-face of the punch, and punched again, taking off about 3/4 of the bottom of the punch but still getting that same rounded look on the bottom.
If you don't understand, post below and ask for a video of it
Check back tomorrow for a few more ideas that I did with this set

Stampin' Up! Shaker Ornament
What fun this bundle has been! The ornament stamps and coordinating dies are just endless hours of fun.
I decided to try my hand at a shaker card cause this new red foil paper was tempting me sore.
I used our metallic sequins, window sheet and lots of dimensionals to create this card.
I also used our new embossing folder, Boughs and Berries #140875
After I was finished I decided I wanted to try the ornament in gold foil. As gorgeous as foil is, I'm sort of still leaning toward the white ornament...what do you think?

Stampin' Up! Holiday
This is the first card that I designed after I got my new pre-order. I think I was so amazed at this stack of designer vellum....isn't it just gorgeous?
This card uses alot of New stuff...let me tell you all about it
The stamp is from Happy Scenes (pg. 11) and coordinates in a bundle with Hearth and Home Framelits #140853
And not to forget the designer vellum from Winter Wonderland Stack #139594
It still melts my heart, it's so beautiful
And the wooden snowflake #139638 that come in 3 assorted designs and sizes
What do you think? Are you liking something from this new catalog?
