Technique Spotlight--Watercoloring

A]   Dip the tip of a blender pen on to the corner of a Stampin' Pastel, then apply to the stamped image.

OR
B]   Brush the tip of a blender pen, or Aqua Painter directly on the tip of a Watercolor Wonder crayon, then apply color to the stamped image.
OR
C]   Outline a section of the stamped image with a Watercolor Wonder Crayon or Watercolor Pencil, then use a blender pen, Aqua Painter, or wet watercolor brush to pull color where desired.
OR
D]   Press the closed lid of a Classic Stampin' Pad down against the ink pad, creating a small pool of color in the lid; then open the lid. Use a blender pen, or an Aqua Painter to lift the ink from the lid and apply to the stamped image.
QUICK TIP
For more saturated colors as in the above sample: watercolor with Classic ink refills (Drop 1 or 2 drops onto a plastic lid, then dip aqua painter directly in.  Before going to your project, brush several times on plastic lid to work the color into the brush, then color on project).

Quick Tip: Use Watercolor Paper and stamp image with Staz-On ink so it doesn’t run (as in above sample)
