Home Office

Thought you might want a peek from my tour of the home office in Riverton.  Look close, you just might get some clues as to what you’ll see in the next Mini catalog.IMG_1695

You’ve been waiting…

for all the great ideas that I got at convention….I’m sorry to have kept you but I came home to a leak in my basement and am just now starting to put my stamp room back into some semblance of order .

I have many great things to share and here’s my first one:

Thought I could live without this set “Timeless Treasures: til I saw this card!

She stamped the flower, from Elements of Style, in black on the soft suede, then ran through the square lattice punch.  I love how she used several types of ribbon as an accent.

Last Kid’s Scrap Camp

Moms and Dads!  Great news! This summer, we are opening a Scrapbooking Day Camp for kids!

Here’s what we offer:

2 day camp (Wednesday, Thursday) 10AM til 12:30 PM

Lunch will be served and you can pick your child up at 12:30.

Each child must bring 15-20 photos. They will receive a supply packet to use and keep (valued at $50) including an Album with page protectors, Cardstock, Adhesive, Designer Paper and Sticker to match,

They will have access to punches, stamps, inks, and accessories as they work on their album.

Color Coach—my plan

IMG_1678

 IMG_1677

With our New Color Coach, we have a great copy of each color and on the back, we get several color combos.  I’ve been having fun stamping for convention and came up with these colors for this notebook:

IMG_1672

The notebooks were real red, so we added pumpkin pie, pacific point, old olive.  It had this black elastic on the side so we also highlighted black.

I want to remember this color combo so I punched out the colors with the 1/2 inch punch and put on the red cardstock of my Color Coach.

Here’s a pic of the pile we got done!

My favorite Color combo

IMG_1652

Was using scraps to create a card and these colors came together: Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Soft Suede and Marina Mist ribbon and flower. The flowers are the new Paper Flower and I put the flower on my Marina Mist ink pad to ink, then spritzed it with water to get the color spread.

This is the next to the smallest flower, center is a piece of soft suede punched with 3/4” circle and scrunched up. The brad is from the Vintage Brad set!

The stamp is from the Level 1 hostess set: Punch Potpourri.  The Suede Brads at the top are from the Neutrals Brads Asst.

The embossed design is done with our Big Shot and the new embossing folder, Vintage Wallpaper.  the cute little ribbon is our new Taffeta—Marina Mist.  The scallop is done with our favorite punches—Scallop Trim Border and Corner punches.

I hope you enjoy!

Enjoying my new supplies

Yesterday, Malachi, Tash and I sat down and got to ‘play’ with some of my new stuff.

This card came about when I decided to revisit my love for River Rock (yes, some of you are laughing cause when I first saw that color several years ago, I mentioned how ugly it was—reminds me of the color of my aluminum siding—ugh!).  To be fair to the color—it earned it’s place in my heart because it coordinates with so many colors.  So, I used Baja Breeze, White, River Rock, and Soft Suede Cardstock.

The stamps I used are 2 hostess sets: Level 1 Punch Potpourri, and Level 3 Occasional Quotes, the pattern across the bottom is done with a stamp from Artistic Etchings!  The brad on the flower is from our beautiful Antique Brads!  A little sponging finishes off this slightly antique look.

New Stuff!

IMG_1645

I thought you’d enjoy opening this new box with me! It just got here UPS!

Oh, what fun.  No, I didn’t get everything even though I wanted to!

Here’s my new Sizzix Bigz XL Die Box

IMG_1644

I was so happy, I was even sniffing the box—it smelled good—maybe it was glue, anyway this whole process is such a ‘high’ for me!

IMG_1649

And here it is, on the left hand side of the picture, all filled up with dies (the bag on the right is from Thirty One and holds my Bigz Dies.  My embossing folders fit in the pocket.

And there isn’t much that’s more fun than fitting your acrylic blocks into this fabulous carrier!  So long little basket, now I can keep track of these buggers!

IMG_1646

I know, you want to see cards.  Well, I have been very busy stamping but making 40 and 50 of all one design and I can’t really show you because they are swaps for convention but okay, I’ll give you a small peak of one of my Over The Top Swaps!

IMG_1650

It uses the new set: Artistic Etchings, our New Rhinestone stick ons, our new ribbon, the new color Early Espresso and lots of other cool things.  I promise I’ll show you the whole card at class this month or on here the end of the month!

Playing with new color

IMG_1578

While waiting for my new stuff, I pulled out one of my favorite sets: For All You Do, and was playing with it for my last workshop.  I really like how this card turned out with the wonderful Jumbo Bird Punch!   See the stamped Pacific Point square above on the right hand card?  I stamped one of those and punch out the bird punch and it turned out like this one here:

New Colors

I’m having so much fun all the new

IMG_1639

colors!  They all coordinate so well.

I just found these labels on Diana Gibbs Blog.  What a great idea and how much easier my pads are to find.

Here’s her file—I took off the numbers cause I really don’t need a number on them, but the group they are in makes it very easy for anyone to put them back in the correct row on my holder.

They get printed on Avery 5160 labels and then punched out with Word Window punch.

Thanks Diana!  Great idea

I just had to share another picture  of my Regals.  They are so beautiful!
