Here’s another from our Stamp A Stack (don’t miss the little accent under the top layer—it’s done with one of the Frames stamps—and an Antique Brad). Stamped with Nature Walk stamp #121997 stamped in Basic Brown and watercolored. Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla CS along with Botanical Gazette DSP #121783

What I love is the ribbon! This only works with the seam binding (found on the mini catalog). I spritzed it with water and scrunched it in my hand, then just slightly straightened it and allowed to dry. I think it creates such an interesting look!

This is another card I made for Theresa’s party on Friday night. This uses the DSP and the stamp set from the Spring is Blossoming Promotion.

Basic card is Cherry Cobbler, with Marina Mist Accent.

I colored some of our rhinestones with a red sharpie marker and added a heart punched accent.

Four Frames and Paisley Petals

Here are a few ideas that my dear friend Marie stamped for me at my upline’s meeting last Thursday!  I didn’t have time to make the projects because of scrap weekend starting the next morning so she was sweet enough to stamp them for me.  I’m so glad because they are beautiful.  The are all make with the Spring is Blossoming Special!    You can get this stamp and paper free is you host a $350 show this month!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sneak Peak--May

Tash made this card with our upcoming Flower embossing folder that will be available in May (watch for your new Mini catalog) as well as the new designer paper—Beyond the Garden—that she is in love with!  I told her she could not leave for the birthday party, that she made this card for, until I snapped a picture of her cute idea!

Blossoms Petal Punch

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is a card I made quickly on Friday (after the taxes) for a workshop that night!  Thanks to Jackie Topa—whom I believe was the originator of this embossed ribbon idea. 

You just adhere our satin ribbon to a piece of cardstock using the Big Shot Multipurpose adhesive sheets in the Occasions Mini catalog  #120805  (you just lay your cut ribbon on the sheet—press down cover—the lift and adhere to CS). Then you run it through the big shot using one of the embossing folders.  On my card, I punched 2 strips using the ribbon punch then adhered the ribbon to that. 

For the flower, I punched 8 of the small petals from the Blossoms Petals Punch #121808 in Marina Mist and 2 in Old Olive (same petal).  Curled them using my bone folder, then glued them with Tombow Multipurpose Glue onto a 1” circle (first layer 5 petals, then second layer with more glue-3 petals).  Glued the leaves the opposite way so that the ‘sharper ends’ were showing.  Then spritzed the whole flower with a mixture of alcohol and shimmer paint (#116854 pg. 195 of catalog).  After it dried, I applied one of the Vintage Flower Adornments #121879 from the mini catalog—love these things.

I stamped one of the frames from the Four Frames stamp set #123442 that you can get this month when you place a minimum $20 order.  I punched it out with our designer label punch #120907 from the mini catalog. 

I stamped ‘for the newlyweds’ because I needed a cute card for Dustin and Emily’s wedding the next day!

Oh, and I can’t forget to tell you how I did the embossing on the top of the white card.  I showed this awhile back—I took my Finial Press Embossing Folder  #115963 and cut it into several pieces of design so that I could emboss just small areas of my card!  It’s so much fun.

This is a 6X6 layout that I did for my daughter’s friend, Heidi’s, 16th birthday.  I used the following kits and it took me only 2 hours to complete this album:

Easter Cross

I wanted to share this beautiful card with you from Gretchen Barron.  She used the lattice die with the Big Shot—then cut out just this portion which is in the shape of the cross. 

She sponged Vanilla cardstock with pinks, and yellows, then glued on the cut out piece.  Then she ran the whole design through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder and made the cross look embedded into the paper!  I think it’s just beautiful.  Rich Razzleberry is the dark color of paper and ribbon.  I hope you can try this great card and technique.
