I thought I'd show you some of the projects that we made. My friend, and team mate, Phyllis Krietz came over and helped me to design them.
This card is done in Daffodil Delight and Island Indigo with a touch of crumb cake.
We used the lace tape as a stencil...on the lower right hand side you can see it. Then we also added some of the lace tape as an accent.
The stamps sets used are Creative Elements #122647 and Papillion Potpourri #123759
The daffodil seam binding, along with the rhinestones is just the accent this card needed to make it pop!

Here's the second card that we made, actually changed up a bit from a beautiful swap from Sondra Jumper (shown below). It was mostly re-designed in my first class when Sheryl Meyers decided to omit the background layer of white cardstock...we all fell in love with her design and I thus re-designed my card to show more of the Elegant Egglant as well as the embossed design. Don't you just love when that happens? Someone changes it up and it keeps getting better. The green is Gumball Green...really makes this card pop...once again, we used butterflies from Papillion in Daffodil Delight. The flowers were stamped in Perfect Plum.
The stamp set is the Secret Garden Bundle #131099 and we used the new mini butterfly punch #129406
I made mine a sympathy card because I've had so many friends lose loved ones this past week.
If you didn't get this Secret Garden Bundle...hurry and get yours because it's been so great to have dies to cut out the flowers so quickly and easily. Yes, I know, we already have too many flower sets! This one is different because it will save you so much time as well as it's cute and versatile: has solid flowers as well as outline flowers to create so many different looks. Here's a card I copied from the talented Mary Fish....uses the outline flowers stamped on designer paper. These colors are Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla. Check out the embossed cross stitch down the left--done with our Needlepoint Border Embossing Folder #129383
