Happy Valentine's Day
Or should I say, Happy Snow Days to my East Coast friends! I hope you're all safe and sound. I enjoyed getting out and shoveling snow with my family yesterday...I also enjoyed getting back inside by the wood stove!
I thought I'd make you all a Valentine because I (heart) you!
I got this idea from Connie's meeting...I know we all
have our favorite demonstrators to copy.
My new neighbor and I met for the first time and
made Valentine cards for our sweethearts!
This card uses the Banner Blast Stamps and punch from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog. Aren't they fun?
Also, the See ya Later stamp from SAB.
Don't you love the heart...cut out?
That was done so easily with our heart framelits! Then we embossed the Strawberry Slush card with the dots folder from SAB.
I think what makes the card is the tiny bit of bling...a little glimmer paper and a rhinestone.
Here's my Valentine Scrapbook page...project for class this month..
That's my honey and I on our Stampin' Up! cruise...I think it's the only time we get pictures taken of 'us'.
I used the Hexagon Hive Thinlets Die #132965 $24.95
But I want you so see the flowers...is this teeny flower punch just adorable or what?
Once again, some glimmer paper and rhinestones to add that touch of bling!

Stamping Swaps for Leadership
Sorry, I thought I had posted these ideas for you days ago, but it was not on my blog. Here is one of the swaps that Tash and I did for Leadership...mostly Tash's design. New stamp set is So Very Grateful #133053 $18.95
We stamped the design with Whisper White craft ink and then cut around the design with an exacto knife. Tiny flowers are punched with the mini shapes, then curled up and a rhinestone added to the center. We used black, crisp cantaloupe and strawberry slush.
Here is the other swap that we designed...it uses the Petite Petals stamps #133155 $11.95 and of course the punch...be sure to check for the bundle for big savings

The colors are Strawberry Slush, Midnight Muse, Pistachio Pudding.
We also used the new scallop tag punch,#133124 $22.95, for the greeting. It's a very cool punch! Cut your paper 2 inches wide and as long as you want. You can even punch both ends if you want to make a border.
The background is done with the embossing folder Pretty Print $7.95
Directions: Stamp the outline flowers in StazOn, then watercolor with the aqua painter in between the flowers. The flowers are watercolored with Strawberry Slush ink.
Hope you enjoy these samples. If you need any of the products listed, please Check My Store Now.

Stampin' Up! Leadership, Houston, TX
Fabulous time in Houston, TX at Stampin' Up!s
Leadership training. We were treated to a special Manager's Reception at the Aquarium and this view of Houston was from the top of the Ferris Wheel there.
Got a train ride through the Shark Tank Aquarium and got a shot of this scarey guy swimming above us.
Big Announcement! We are getting Alcohol Markers in our Stampin' Up! colors. What does that mean? You can actually color and shade with markers...there will be 3 markers for one color (3 different shades). I can't wait to get my hands on them and will let you know as soon as they are here!
