3rd Day of Christmas...Stamparatus Carrying Bag

Today is for you...and all your crafting friends!

Have you gotten your hands on the world's best stamp positioning tool yet?

Our Stamparatus is a force to be reckoned with and today, our carrying bag was released to the public. So, you can get the bag now, if you have the stamparatus or you can get them both together, at my store.

For me, I think I'd have to say my favorite 2 things are:

1. background stamps...wow, talk about easy!

2. Cutting out my die pieces first and then positioning in a template in the stamparatus to stamp perfectly every time. Saves trying to get the die to hold still over my perfectly stamped design, only to move in the cutter and totally destroy what I had already stamped.

About the bag:
I can see it being used for things besides the stamparatus as well: how about embossing folders and dies, the cleaning pad would fit in there fabulously along with other tools you may want to carry with you, thus its called the craft and carry bag. You get to choose what you carry.

Things I love about our tool:

-We have moveable plates as well as being able to purchase extra plates, so that I can set up stamps for my complete project and have no resetting in the middle of trying to complete something. I can make 10 cards very quickly because I took a few minutes to position each stamp where it was to be and then did assembly line!

-The magnets are incredibly strong so I don't have to worry about things moving.

-I think it was so smart to design the moveable system so that if we want to create a design using the same stamp, down the card, all we have to do is move the plate and leave the paper in place...perfect spacing every time!

2nd Day of Christmas--Ferrero Rocher Box 2 Thirds

I found this box, designed by Candy Ford....its so regal and beautiful. I think you'll agree. It was very easy to make following her directions. Her measurements are Spot On! After I made my first one...the one you see pictured here:

....I thought, I wonder if I could make a smaller one...needed something smaller to fit in a smaller package! I made one and gave it away. as soon as I make a second and tweek the sizes, I will post that here. But for now, enjoy Candy's large and beautiful one. You can see I used a different saying on the front because I didn't have the same as her's. Easy enough!

Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer: (I personally love

to score with Simply Scored...my scores are much more precise)

Real Red card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 11-1/2″ and scored 1-1/2″ from each of the four sides, for the box
Real Red CS cut to 4-1/16″ x 10-1/16″ and scored 3/4″ from each of the four sides, for the lid
Chocolate Chip CS cut to 2-1/4″ x 8-1/4″ for a layer on the lid
Real Red CS cut to 2″ x 8″ for a layer on the lid
Real Red CS cut to 3-7/16″ x 9-7/16″ and scored 1/2″ from each of the four sides, for the insert
Stamp the image on the 2 X 8 piece

Die cut using the Large Letters Framelits:

three Hs from a Gold Foil Sheet

Cut using the 1-3/8″” Circle Punch: (I used the 1 3/8" scallop punch since we don't carry the circle one any more.)

3 circles from a contrasting scrap of paper
laid the die cut Hs and the punched circles on the insert to determine where they should go
glued the Hs in place
punched the 3 circles from the insert – fold under the 1/2″ side to get the CS all the way into the punch
3 circles from a scrap of a Gold Foil Sheet, leaving enough room to stamp around the holes with the larger punch*

Cut with the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch:

the 3 gold foil circles, to make rings*

Assembled the box:

The box, lid, and insert are all put together the same way:
a) burnished all score lines with a bone folder for nice crisp corners
b) glued the tabs to the inside of the adjacent side
set insert into the box (no adhesive required)
glued gold rings around each hole
added candies to the holes – I put one Mini Glue Dot under each so they would stick to the bottom of the box and not move around in case the box was jostled.

So here is my Two-third size! It's just a HoHo

I think I've perfected the measurements:

Real Red card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-7/8″ and scored 1-1/2″ from each of the four sides, for the box
Real Red CS cut to 4-1/16″ x 7-7/16″ and scored 3/4″ from each of the four sides, for the lid
Chocolate Chip CS cut to 2-1/4″ x 5-5/8″ for a layer on the lid
Real Red CS cut to 2″ x 5-3/8″ for a layer on the lid
Real Red CS cut to 3-7/16″ x 6-3/4″ and scored 1/2″ from each of the four sides, for the insert
Stamp the image on the 2 X 8 piece

1st Day of Christmas 2018

My first project for you is this cute Favor/Tiny Gift Bag

My Christmas Sampler

Some of you bought my kit or came to class to do this fun project. For those who bought the kit, and for anyone who has the energy and supplies to cut their own....Here's the instructions for putting together.

Supplies you'll need: Hot glue gun, green tombow glue, a piercing tool, glue dots and snail adhesive.

I used towbow liquid glue to adhere everything to the wood.

Finish putting together each piece before you start to glue anything to the frame

Lay each piece out so that you have evenly spaced pieces before you begin to glue down. You'll notice their is more space at the top because you will be putting your snowflake pieces there. They were tricky to cut out so you may find some piecing but it should not be noticeable once it's placed on your frame.

This is your finished project

You should have all these supplies in your kit

up close of the top...this should be your last step

Use hot glue gun for the top of frame.

place your green fronds in place to the right and left of the hole in the wood. Gently

lift the inside of each side, putting a dollup of hot glue and replacing the greens...this area should not show because the bow will cover it. Then, put a dollup of hot glue in the center, over the hole and place and hold ribbon in place for a minute til glue cools.

Heres a few video tips as you are putting your project together

you'll see that I've taken a fine marker and shaded the left side of the city buildings...it really gives is a pop. Note: windows and doorways are shaded on the right side because if the light from the star is coming from the right, all the shadows will be behind anything that is to the right of it.

how to assemble to tree...you'll take a piercing tool and pop forward each cut out, curling it slightly, Then apply some tombow glue to the flat areas on the back and center on full tree cut out.
